By Mara Lemoon & Theo Hood, Founders
The contact page is the front door. Behind it sit fourteen people in a fourth-floor studio in Brooklyn, answering email, picking up the phone, and occasionally meeting founders at the door. Below: the three ways to reach us, the scope we work in, and a short form to book a paid 30-minute strategy call.
02 Before You Book — Read This
The studio works with a deliberately small roster of founders each year — typically sixteen to twenty engagements at any given moment, drawn from the 220+ brand systems we have shipped since 2017. To save everyone an hour, here is the fit, stated plainly.
The 30-minute strategy call is paid — $240, invoiced on booking and credited toward a full engagement if we move forward together. It is not a pitch. Mara or Theo joins the call personally, and you leave with a written point of view on your brand's positioning, naming, or identity direction regardless of whether we work together.
Engagements are scope-based, not hourly. Recent projects have ranged from $18,000 to $310,000, with an average engagement value of $84,000 over an 11-week end-to-end duration. We are a fit for Series A–C founders, premium DTC, and SaaS companies who measure brand as infrastructure rather than decoration. We are not the right studio for a $500 logo, a brand refresh in a week, or paid media — and we will tell you so on the call.
If you are unsure whether you qualify, email [email protected] with a one-paragraph brief. We answer within two business days.
03 Three Doors
Three ways to reach a human at the studio. Pick whichever carries the lowest friction this week.

05 Frequently Asked, Before the Call
Yes. $240, invoiced on booking. The fee is credited in full against any engagement that follows within twelve months. The call is founder-led, runs thirty minutes, and you leave with a written point of view regardless of outcome. It exists because we found unpaid "intro" calls tended to drift toward pitches rather than honest conversations.
"Too early" usually means one of two things: too early for the budget, or too early for a strategic identity. The first is a real constraint — we will tell you so and point you toward studios that fit. The second is rarely a problem; the strongest work in our archive tends to come from Series A founders with a clear category to claim and a budget to claim it with. If you are unsure, email a one-paragraph brief and we will tell you which it is.
We work across premium DTC, SaaS, hospitality, food & beverage, financial services, and cultural institutions — the common thread is a founder-led team building a brand that needs to last more than a quarter. We do less well with quick-turnaround logo work, campaigns, or anything that frames the brand as a wrapper around performance marketing. If you are unsure, ask.
Most engagements begin four to eight weeks after the call, depending on studio capacity. We deliberately run a thin roster — sixteen to twenty active engagements — which means we sometimes cannot start for ten to twelve weeks. If your timeline is urgent, mention it in the brief and we will be straight about whether we can move.
Still uncertain? Write [email protected] with a one-paragraph brief. We reply within two business days.
